Our Program

SINCE 2019

Since 2019, Prometheus Wrestling Club’s goal is to help kids find the love of wrestling.

We offer 2 seasons of wrestling — Folkstyle and Freestyle/Greco-Roman.

All practices are held at University High School

Folkstyle Season

Runs November through February. This is the style of wrestling you’ll see in high school and men’s college wrestling. We focus on the basics of takedowns, top and bottom position, escapes, and pinning combinations.

Freestyle/Greco-Roman Season

Runs March through the first weekend in May. Explore the styles seen in Olympic competition, with freestyle also featured in women’s college wrestling. We focus on takedowns, exposure, defense, and pinning combinations.
